Gladys Perint Palmer
One of the most renowned fashion illustrator in the world today.
She is an esteemed artist, writer and tutor and is the Executive Director of Fashion at San Francisco’s Academy of Art. In honour of her achievements, Mayor Gavin Newsom dedicated May 24th 2006 to be Gladys Perint Palmer day in San Francisco. Covering the European Fashion collections her reports feature in top publications including, The Sunday Times, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Russian L’Officiel and Vogue.

Iván Navarro

Neon, wood, paint, mirror, one-way mirror and electric energy
Iván Navarro is one of the most influential artist on light / mirrors / neon / installations of today.
Navarro was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, and the dictatorship of his homeland has had a profound impact on his work, both in his choice of medium, and in the meaning his neon sculptures and pieces of faux-furniture hold. As he grew up during the dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet, Navarro was used to electricity being shut off to keep citizens at home and isolated; “All the pieces that I’ve made make reference to controlling activity, and electricity was a way to control people.”

Peter Kogler
Born in 1959 in Innsbruck, Austria, Kogler studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. He lives and works in Vienna, Austria and Munich, Germany where he has been a professor of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich since 2008. From 1993 to 2005 he was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria.
He is one of the pioneers of computer-generated art and is influenced by American minimalism of the 1960s and 1970s. He is known for his large scale installations and sculptures which can also be seen in public space and buildings throughout Europe.

Candida Höfer – b. 1944 Eberswalde, Germany
One of the most reputed & celebrated artist of contemporary photography art.
The Photographs in the restaurant by Candida Höfer are taken in both public and private places; she focuses on the interiors of spaces, centers of power, commerce and the institution. The photographs depict a world of knowledge and exchange of information.
Although she has photographed cultural institutions internationally, Höfer does not set out to make art about colonialism, globalization or social disparities, “To highlight social function is not my concern”. She has created a collection of work where her intervention highlights the unspoken glory of her subjects. Höfer exposes the sublimity of the relationship between humanity, space and architecture and the endless possibilities of photography.
Her photographs are not digitally manipulated. She also does not apply flashes or artificial lights. She aims to work with the given light source in the respective spaces. It is this technique that allows her to bring out the intimate details of each space.
